COLLISION COURSE continues EPW’s 18th year as Western Australia’s premium wrestling company. COLLISION COURSE is the battleground for EPW’s very best to make their name and continue to lead the way in 2019. The entire roster will leave it all on the line in a night of fast paced, high impact, competitive entertainment that only Explosive pro Wrestling can provide.
“The Don” Michael Morleone, defending EPW Champion
“The World Beater”Damian Slater
“The Don” Michael Morleone went through hell to get back to this moment. Whether it was the bitter fallout of his former family member Hayden Zenith or having to overcome the history making champion Gavin McGavin the path back to the EPW summit has been tough.
After a dominant 2018 in the EPW Tag Team Division, Damian Slater will challenge the new EPW CHAMPION “The Don” Michael Morleone for the championship. Morleone has fought hard to reclaim the EPW Championship after being double-crossed but will face a steep challenge in the former Champion Damian Slater. With a renewed focus on singles competition and Julian Ward joining the ranks of The Untouchables alongside Marcus Pitt and Amber will The Don’s Championship reign come crashing down before it can begin?
The Street Gang Hooligans
Alex “AK47” Kingston & Logan Grey defending Tag Team Champions
Matt Diamond & Jude London
The EPW Tag Team Champions the Street Gang Hooligans will be putting their championships on the line against the interstate challenge of The Velocities. Four of the most athletic, innovative and incredible competitors in Australian pro wrestling will unbelievably be in the same ring at EPW Collision Course. The challengers from NSW are making a name for themselves across the globe and will be keen to add the EPW Tag Team Championships to their building list of accolades. One thing is for sure and that is that with championship glory on the line between two of the hottest tag teams currently going round, this match will tear the roof off of the Gate One Theatre. This is can’t miss.
“The Big Rig” Scotty Ryan
Does the record breaking reign come to an end on Saturday? The longest reigning EPW Coastal Champion Scotty Ryan defends his Championship against 5-time EPW Champion Marcius Pitt as TMDK and Generation Zero collide.
Marcius Pitt is perhaps the toughest test of Scotty Ryan’s EPW Coastal Championship reign. Not only is the prestigious Coastal Championship at stake but there is personal pride for the champion to restore as he was as shocked as the EPW fans when Julian Ward attacked him to join The Untouchables. But Ryan cannot look past Pitt, as the experienced competitor will be looking to derail The Big Dog’s reign.
Will Generation Zero’s “Big Rig” successfully continue the longest ever Coastal Championship reign or will TMDK’s former “People’s Champion” add “Coastal Champion” to his stellar resume? Will Amber or new Untouchables member Julian Ward have a part to play?
The Invitational Tournament Trophy is on the line! The former EPW Champion Gavin McGavin has successfully convinced EPW Invitational Tournament Winner Gorgeous Garry to put the trophy up for grabs this Saturday at EPW Collision Course.
By claiming the EPW Invitational Tournament Trophy, Gorgeous Garry proved that he is ready to take the next leap in his career. Beyond the flamboyant outfits and the fun-loving demeanor is a serious competitor inside the ring. At Collision Course 2019, he will get the chance to prove his rise up the rankings by taking on the former EPW Champion Gavin McGavin.
With a championship opportunity granted to him with possession of the Invitational Trophy, can The Nonstop Catwalk Show send a message to EPW’s champions and further reinforce his championship credentials with a victory over The Real Wrestler? Or will EPW’s First Ever Grand Slam Champion punch his ticket back into the EPW Championship discussion. Just how will the first ever EPW Grand Slam Champion and now former EPW Champion Gavin McGavin react to losing his EPW Championship?
A huge opportunity awaits for Dan Steel as he takes on Mikey Nicholls at EPW Collision Course. The Headhunter Dan Steel has been on a vicious tear in EPW but has bemoaned a lack of opportunities offered from EPW officials. Fresh from his return to EPW and an impressive victory over former EPW Champion Bobby Marshall, Mad Mikey serves as the biggest test of Steel’s career. Will Steel step up and capture the moment he seeks on May 25?
While Dan Steel is very vocal on social media about his desire for opportunity. He’s has kept very quiet regarding the hooded figure that helped him defeat Dan Moore. Is this part of the Headhunter’s strategy for Collision Course? He will need his very best to overcome the world class Mad Mikey.
Kiel Steria and David Nero
Tyler Jacobs and Chadwick Jackson
These two tag teams are looking to make a mark and stake their claims in the EPW Tag Team Division at EPW Collision Course. For Steria & Nero they will be eager to pick up a victory to re-enter the Tag Team Championship discussion. After pushing the Street Gang Hooligans at Goldrush, a win here can propel them back to the top of the rankings and possibly another chance at the championships.
Tyler Jacobs is set on sharing his message of light to anybody who will listen – and even to those who won’t. A win here against the former No.1 contenders will afford the decorated veteran the platform to continue to preach the virtues of the light. As for his “child” Chadwick Jackson, we saw him preparing for a huge Rising Star Cup Quarter Final Match this Friday at EPW School of Pro Wrestling Showcase #3 – Friday Night Fights!. All that video showed is that it is hard to understand what ticks inside the brain of Chadwick except for the fact that he will be looking to impress Father Jacobs.
Will it be the Followers of the Light Tyler Jacobs and Chadwick Jackson or the former No.1 Contenders Kiel Steria and David Nero who insert themselves into the Championship discussions?
“The Prince of Perth” Jay Taylor
EPW Collision Course will see the Explosive Pro Wrestling debut of the “Spoilt and Rich” Richie Quach. It will be no easy task for the EPW newcomer as he faces former a Invitational Tournament Winner and EPW Tag Team Champion in the form of “The Prince of Perth” Jay Taylor. Last time we saw Jay Taylor he was walking out on Del Cano at Goldrush, where as Richie Quach picked up a tag team victory over Del Cano and Jordan Bishop-Pro Wrestler at EPW School of Pro Wrestling Showcase #3 – Friday Night Fights!
Both men have a point to prove with Quach wanting to make a memorable EPW debut and “The Prince of Perth” eager to knock the rookie down a peg and reestablish his position within EPW. Will Jay Taylor return to winning ways or will Richie Quach continue his impressive EPW School of Pro Wrestling Showcase form?
EPW’s very best are on a collision course with one another as they strive to make their way to the very top of the EPW mountain. The action is unmissable as nothing beats the live experience of witnessing Explosive pro Wrestling– the leader of Western Australian professional wrestling!
